Ingredients:

  • 3 tsp mint leaves
  • 1 cup of oat milk (unsweetened, organic recommended)
  • (Optional: 2 tsp cacao powder for mint hot chocolate)

Equipment:

  • ALTA 1
  • A fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth
  • Storage container (airtight bottle or jar)

Instructions:

Step 1: Infuse the Oat Milk
  • Fill the Kettle: Add 3 tsp mint leaves to the Kettle of your ALTA 1.
  • Add Oat Milk: Pour 1 cup of oat milk into the Kettle.
  • Infuse: Choose your preferred mode:
    • Infused Mode: 160°F for 40 minutes.
    • Altafuse Mode: 140°F for 30 minutes.
Step 2: Strain and Store
    • Strain the Milk: Once infused, pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove the mint leaves.
    • Store: Transfer the mint-infused oat milk to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 5 days.
    Step 3 (Optional): Make Mint Hot Chocolate
    • Heat the infused oat milk.
    • Stir in 2 tsp cacao powder until fully dissolved.
