How to make homemade rosemary mint shaving cream with ALTA 1

This homemade Rosemary Mint Shaving Cream combines the refreshing scent of rosemary and mint with nourishing ingredients to give you a smooth, irritation-free shave. Plus, it’s easy to make and better for your skin—let’s dive into the simple steps for creating your own！

Ingredients

  • For Infusion
    • 3/4 cup shea butter
    • 2 tbsp dried mint
    • 2 tbsp dried rosemary
  • For Shaving Cream
    • 2 tbsp avocado oil
    • 3/4 cup coconut oil
    • 2/3 tbsp vitamin E oil

Equipment

  • Your ALTA 1 machine.
  • A strainer.
  • A glass jar with an airtight lid.

Instructions

  • Infuse the Shea Butter:
    • Fill the Kettle with 2-3 tablespoons of dried mint and rosemary (if you are using fresh herbs, make sure you run "DRY" cycle to dry the herbs first).
    • Add shea butter to the Kettle and close the Lid.
    • Set the machine to "ALTAFUSE" mode at default temperature and set the timing to 30-40 minutes.
    • Once completed, strain the infused shea butter and set aside to cool.
  • Mix the Oils:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine the infused shea butter with coconut oil and avocado oil.
    • Add a few drops of vitamin E oil for added nourishment.
  • Store the Shaving Cream:
    • Filtration and transfer the mixture into a glass jar with an airtight lid.
    • Store the jar in a cool, dry place until ready to use.
  • Use the Shaving Cream:
    • Apply a thin layer of the shaving cream onto your skin.
    • Shave as usual for a smooth, soothing shave.

  • Use an Airtight Container: Transfer the shaving cream to a clean, airtight container. This will protect it from air and moisture, preserving its texture and consistency.
